About Extendamac Discussions

The Extendamac community uses the web site and email lists to announce information to the community. We use email lists for all our discussions. (Currently we do not use web-based discussion forums.)

About List Etiquette

We welcome input from all members of the Macintosh development community. We ask that you be polite and respectful when you post to this list. Remember that members of our community come from many different cultures; not everyone recognizes humor and satire in the same way. Make your comments clear and concise and you will avoid misunderstandings.

If you have problems with the postings of anyone on the list, assume first that you have misunderstood the intent of the poster. Then discuss your problems privately with the poster or with the list administrator. You can send mail directly to the mail list administrator by sending to the list address with'-admin' appended to the list name such as extendamac-general-admin@lists.sourceforge.net.

Before you make your first post, we encourage you to review the archives of the list, available from the Extendamac Lists page and become familiar with the information available on the Extendamac web site. You very well may find what you seek among those resources.

Please remember that the Extendamac lists are for discussing issues of importance to the Extendamac community. They are not a forum for discussing general Macintosh support questions, or even general Macintosh developer questions. There are other forums for those activities elsewhere on the web. If your questions or comments do not relate to Extendamac, please direct them elsewhere.
